AIGA is committed to advancing the understanding of the value of design and the process of designing through advocacy, education, publications, conferences and spirited conversations. We are the largest and oldest association of professional designers in the United States.

AIGA members receive a variety of benefits throughout the year including the following publications and services: 365 AIGA Year in Design; Gain: AIGA Journal of Design for the Network Economy; Loop: AIGA Journal of Interaction Design Education; calls for entry from various competitions; invitations to national conferences; discounts from FedEx, Broadwing Communications, and Airbourne Express. AIGA provides a platform for designers to join forces with other members across the country to share, work, interact and collaborate with each other through various forums. AIGA membership is over 16,000 members strong. Our national organization has made great strides toward building recognition for our profession nationally and given a "voice" to a once very quiet profession.

Our organization is run entirely by volunteers and as always we welcome any time you can contribute to our activities and events. It is through your membership, participation, and sponsorship that we can continue to provide interesting and educational events for the design community in our area.
