get involved

Participating as a volunteer for the AIGA is a great addition to your professional development, looks great on your resume, allows you to build your skills and knowledge, and offers a great opportunity to network with new contacts and find new opportunities. AIGA volunteers are given the chance to give back into their community while having a lot of fun. Please read through the following volunteer opportunities and rate your interest level. We will then contact you for the specific events to find out your interest in being involved in the volunteer schedule.

Without volunteers like YOU, our events would not be possible. Below is a list of volunteer positions available. Please respond to this survey with your interests and we will contact you directly to discuss upcoming events!

Please rank your interest level:

Mailings Assistant

Help as opportunities arise to fold, stuff, stamp and label invitations to our events while enjoying the company of fellow design professionals!

Portfolio Reviewer

In June, become a portfolio reviewer for the annual Student Portfolio Day by giving feedback, advice and tips. Use this opportunity to provide mentorship to the future design professionals of tomorrow, by dispensing constructive criticism as well as tips and tricks from your experiences in the professional world of graphic design. This is a great way to give back to the young design community and see the promise of the future designers in Portland.
